Almacén 19

Almacen 19 is a new industrial space in Seville for holding events. It is part of a number of dependencies and warehouses located in the port area of Seville. These warehouses were built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, to host those countries that did not count with their own pavilions. They were meant to become stock warehouses afterwords on the initial project.

This urban space is near the Canal Alfonso XIII, the port activity area and the Reina Mercedes university campus. This set of semi-detached buildings are the “Docks of the Port of Seville”. They all share the same singular elements both in the facade and in the indoor, regarding their characteristic composition and spatial structure.

Almacen 19 is been renovated significantly. In order to adapt the space into an events venue for every industry, it has transformed its spatial and technical endowment.

The adapted space has now a 1100m² floor plant divided into a Hall and an Auditorium. It also has an office area for catering use, air conditioning, toilets, a bar area and a large gabled roof. These elements complete its industrial and contemporary character.

The Auditorium is a differentiated space with capacity for 450 attendees. It is proposed as a small auditorium with a stage and tiered seatings. Furthermore, we find a huge Hall to host parallel activities such as exhibitions, welcome receptions or even the gastronomic services associated to any type of event.

This avant-garde and industrial location in Seville helds events in an unconventional space, providing a differential value to any communication action.
