DOC Rioja Experience at the Ibero-American Museum
We add a new success story to our backpack of experiences. On this occasion, we worked hand in hand with the Madrid-based agency Mateo&Co to present the novelties of the DOC Rioja. Finding a unique space that perfectly matched the event’s line was a challenge that we successfully met.
The Shabby&Chic team always works to find the venue that best suits the needs of each event and each client. In this case, the goal was to recreate a typical village square from La Rioja, so for us it was clear that the ideal location for this event was the Ibero-American Museum located in the heart of Seville. It has a cobblestone patio with orange trees and white lime walls that make the place a wonderful environment for an event of this nature.
The event, framed within the promotion campaign in the national market and after being presented to sector professionals in Madrid, landed in Seville, being this the second chosen stop within the presentation tour of the new wines by the Rioja DOC Regulatory Board. A meeting that brought together more than a hundred people related to the world of hospitality and sommeliers who were able to enjoy a special evening in a unique space.
In addition to finding the location, Shabby&Chic managed the selection and coordination of decoration, furniture, audiovisuals, and catering suppliers. Wondercat, with its experience in the sector, correctly interpreted the event’s line, creating a completely personalised gastronomic proposal with typical elements of La Rioja that perfectly combined with each wine.
The attendees not only enjoyed a special atmosphere thanks to what the space contributed but also savored rich gastronomy, learned from the talks and presentations, and, as the final touch, an acoustic duo entertained the evening in a fun and pleasant way. All this together was excellent.
We love our job, and once again, we can say that we hit the spot with the space for this event. A unique location, with roots and very functional that adapted one hundred percent to our needs, and that for one night was a Plaza Mayor of La Rioja.
