Carrefour Travel Convention
Under the motto “We are the Future,” Carrefour Travel guests were able to firsthand learn about all the novelties in the travel agency sector through a unique workshop in an Andalusian farmhouse with its own identity, in an architectural environment designed by architect Aníbal González and with a Sevillian flavor in every corner of the selected venue.
Carrefour Travel held its 2023 annual sales convention in Seville. In this meeting, the Carrefour subsidiary brought together more than 300 agencies, including franchisees, associates, and its own, and more than 350 agents attended the event. Our Shabby&Chic team helped organise the Carrefour Travel convention throughout a working day in which the latest business developments and initiatives would be showcased to the entire network of group agencies.
Our challenge was to offer two venues for the different moments of the convention: the first space for the workshop, which should represent an immersion in the most typical Seville and with references to Andalusia as a concept. The space was adapted to receive guests, distribute stands designed by travel agency product sectors, and organise a cocktail in the outdoor area amidst an incredible collection of regionalist palaces from the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929.
The Sales Convention took place in the Río space on the banks of the Guadalquivir. The Río space becomes an exceptional forum where independent entrepreneurs and managers of more than 300 agencies share and exchange experiences, in addition to getting firsthand knowledge of the company’s projects.
There is no better way to get to know Seville than through the Guadalquivir, the most important river in Andalusia and one of the most important in Spain. We proposed to end the day with a boat ride that docked at the Rio de Sevilla space and connected, to end the day, with a gala dinner at one of the city’s most impressive panoramic restaurants, such as the Abades Triana Restaurant.
Seville welcomed Carrefour Travel with a welcome in the purest Andalusian style, creating an unforgettable experience for all participants.
