BAT Group celebrates its graduation ceremony in Malaga
In November 2023, our Shabby&Chic team was fully involved in organising the Graduation Ceremony of the BAT Group (British American Tobacco), alongside the Madrid-based agency Grupo Talentum.
From the moment they handed the briefing to our Shabby&Chic team, we got to work searching for the perfect venue that would meet all the requirements to host an event of this magnitude, under three of our fundamental principles: a unique venue, a multifunctional space adaptable for each stage of the event, and finally, a space located and integrated in the heart of the city connected to the hotel and the main restaurants that the program hosted.
The BAT Staff Academy Master graduation ceremony is held annually nationwide, as the culmination of a series of training programs offered by BAT to its associates in the tobacco sector.
The event started at noon with a surprise visit to the facilities and exhibitions, bringing together all the participants and welcoming them to our fantastic venue, the Malaga Automobile Museum. Subsequently, they enjoyed a cocktail-lunch before the ceremony.
After this first contact, the participants moved to one of the most impressive halls of this venue, where the graduation ceremony and award ceremony took place for participants who had successfully completed the program.
To do this, we dressed up the Malaga Automobile Museum, personalising every corner with decorative lighting, corporate totems, 3D scenography labeled and personalised with the brand’s colors, with our latest audiovisual technology, and a Cabaret setup to give the atmosphere a laid-back style. Additionally, in this hall, two classic cars were placed on either side of the main stage, maintaining the essence of the venue and giving it a unique touch.
We also surprised all the guests with the presence of former footballer Jorge Valdano, who delivered a motivational speech that captivated the attendees. Seizing the opportunity, Jorge Valdano also amazed the guests by signing footballs and even copies of his book “The 11 Powers of a Leader,” at the end of the gathering.
The day concluded with a Gala Dinner at one of the city’s Michelin-starred restaurants, where they could enjoy pairing and tasting of the finest haute cuisine dishes.
